A little help.
Then back to your Trek.
Support for saving places, keeping personal Treks, and choosing what to share in PinGoTrek.
Invitation-only iPhone beta. Requires iOS 26 or later. There is no public App Store download or Android app at this time.
Three invitations. Three different jobs.
Installing the beta, getting access to sharing, and joining a Trek are separate steps. One invitation does not do all three.
- TestFlight invitation
- Lets you access an eligible beta build through Apple’s TestFlight. It does not create a PinGoTrek sharing account or join a Trek.
- Beta-access invitation
- A single-use invitation for admission to private sharing, redeemed with Sign in with Apple. Keep the link private: the first person to redeem it claims it.
- Trek invitation
- Invites an admitted sharing participant to one named Trek. Accepting it does not publish your personal pins.
TestFlight says “No Builds Available”
This means there is no eligible build assigned to your testing group yet. Being registered as a tester does not mean a build is ready to install. External testing also depends on Apple’s beta review. A beta-access or Trek invitation cannot unlock a TestFlight build.
Wait for a build notification or contact support. You do not need to delete your app or personal pins to resolve this message.
A beta-access invitation will not work
Make sure you are using a beta-access invitation, not a Trek invitation. A link may already have been used or may no longer be valid. Ask the person who invited you for help; do not forward the link in a support email.
Your own places, with or without an account
You can save personal pins and reference photos, create personal Treks, and organize pins while signed out or offline. Removing a pin from a personal Trek does not delete the pin or its photos.
Saved pin information and on-device guidance remain useful offline. Map imagery and external directions can need a network connection. GPS and compass readings can be uncertain: use the pin’s description, reference photos, and your surroundings rather than treating a direction as a guarantee.
PinGoTrek does not provide live person tracking or collect background GPS. Location access is for use in the app; camera, Photos, and motion permissions support the features you choose.
Sign-out is not account deletion
Signing out ends your local sharing session and clears the app’s received shared-pin cache. It does not delete your sharing account.
To request sharing-account deletion, open Treks → Sharing & account → Delete account if your build includes it, or contact support. The control is for a signed-in sharing account, and not every beta build has it. Support will verify your identity before acting on an account request.
The in-app flow requires you to be signed in to your sharing account, explicitly confirm deletion, and complete a fresh verification with Apple.
After confirmed deletion, your personal pins, on-device personal photos, personal Treks, and system Photos originals stay on your device. The app clears received shared content and its sharing-account cache on that device. Deleting a sharing account is not the same as deleting your personal library.
Only request deletion if you intend to leave sharing. The beta has ten retained admission places, and deleting an account does not free a place. In the current beta, the same Apple identity cannot enroll again after deletion, even with a new invitation. Account deletion is not a troubleshooting step or something you need to test to help with the beta.
Managing Sign in with Apple
Deleting your PinGoTrek sharing account and shared data can complete even if revoking Apple access is not confirmed. Automatic Apple revocation is a best-effort step with a separate result; do not assume it succeeded just because the sharing account was deleted.
If you are signed out and see Review account deletion, use it to review the pending deletion result.
If Apple revocation is unconfirmed, follow the app’s guidance to manage access in your Apple Account settings, or retry with fresh Apple verification where offered. You do not need to sign back into PinGoTrek or enroll again to complete this separate Apple step. Follow Apple’s instructions for managing Sign in with Apple, or contact support if you need help.
Stopping Sign in with Apple by itself is not a PinGoTrek account-deletion request. Contact support if you still need your sharing account deleted.
Let’s work it out
For beta questions, a problem in the app, or a privacy or account-deletion request, email support.
Email PinGoTrek supportFor an app issue, include the app version and build from Settings → About PinGoTrek → Version, your iOS version, and a short description of what happened.
Please do not send Apple passwords, sign-in codes, invitation links, or personal photos. We will never ask for them. For privacy requests, we will arrange identity verification without asking for these items.
